“Back to the Forge: How the Roy H. Park Fellowship is Recasting a New Media Legacy” is a compilation of narratives that illustrate the impact of the Roy H. Park Fellowships. The collection was written by doctoral Park Fellow Lorraine Ahearn.

The Roy H. Park Fellowships fund the educations of doctoral and master’s students at the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media. Fellows receive payment of tuition, a generous stipend, health insurance and funding for research and travel.

The fellowships are made possible by the Triad Foundation of Ithaca, N.Y.
