Do you have questions about UNC Hussman's master's program in Chapel Hill or about the application process? Drop in on Zoom during this hour to ask our staff.

Our master’s program in Chapel Hill balances training in communication skills, concepts and research methods for students interested in entering the media and communication professions, professional communicators who want more education in a specific field and individuals interested in communication theory and research. The program is broken down into three areas of study:

• Journalism (one-year curriculum with specializations in interactive design journalism, public life reporting and video journalism)
• Strategic Communication (one-year curriculum)
• Theory and Research (two-year curriculum)
