Mia Hamm to discuss Stuart Scott's legacy with Professor Charlie Tuggle for WCHL's Sports Focus program

Stembler Distinguished Professor and Senior Associate Dean Charlie Tuggle will speak with Tar Heel soccer great Mia Hamm for his Sports Focus program airing on WCHL, 97.9 FM Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016, at 10 a.m. Hamm will discuss Stuart Scott's legacy. The show will re-air Saturday at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2016, at 11 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Scott, a 1987 graduate of the University, died Jan. 4, 2015 after beating cancer every day for many years. Hamm spoke at Scott's posthumous induction into the N.C. Journalism Hall of Fame, based in the UNC Hussman School of Journalism and Media, on Oct. 23, 2015, before he was honored with the Tar Heel Trailblazer award at Late Night With Roy.
